Are the mounting tabs bent? Check those sleeves for the bushings to make sure they're pressed all the way in

Yeah the 3 pieces together. My car came with the front trim on the hood and fender extensions but not the rear.

I wouldnt mind having the trim off that green 72 dart/scamp. I dont see it on too many cars...

That looks like a factory drain hole. You should be able to find a really weird shaped rubber plug for it on ebay for about $200!!!

My 383 was leaking in the same place so I took off the pass side head and found a little gasket material that I missed when cleaning the heads before re assembly (have since hanged it on the wall to remind myself to be careful!). I used steel shim gaskets with 2 coats of Permatex Copper paint...

I do commercial landscaping for a living and we have close to 100 pieces of 2 cycle equipment running every day. It hates E-85. I've never had so much trouble with carburetors when we were running that crap. I switched to regular 87 octane this year and have drastically reduced our down time.

I did this swap a couple years ago and had 2.25 taken off mine- worked great!
