'69 Dart - Colored Wiring Diagram Download?

I have a '69 Dart that has a few suspicious splices and randomly cut wires that I'd like to ensure get properly sorted out. I have the B&W diagrams from MyMopar, but I was wondering if there were any colored versions floating around here. Thanks!

    Ammeter to Voltmeter conversion

My Dad's Challenger has a Redline gauge cluster in it, thanks to Overhaulin. Functions great, has a 150mph speedo, tach, and their volt gauge.

    multi spark ignition

If you are considering buying one, look into a "digital" box, rather than analog (like a MSD 6a/6al). Digital will hold multi-spark through all rpms where as analog will drop off its multispark at 2500rpm (or whatever they claim it is)

    multi spark ignition

Multi-spark is used in some newer engines, I know for a fact BMW runs that on quite a few engines. Popular upgrade for a lot of tuners with turbo cars and such.

    Alternator Recommendation

Just got to the junkyard if you ask me. I've been running a 90amp $15 alternator for 2 years now. No problems, factory brackets as well. They also had 120amp models on later cars as well with more options. However I would recommend finding a smaller pulley for it if possible to help keep the...

    Power Trunk Release Wiring?

I ended up buying another trunk latch for my hood as well. Little modification and it fits on my ebody. Works just fine. Didn't like the fact you could just walk up and pop it when i was daily driving it. My trunk/hood both work via switches or my alarm remote.

    Power Trunk Release Wiring?

I ran a relay to mine just to keep the current out of my switches. Works well.

    HUH? Why me

make sure there arent' any loose connections at the coil or possibly the bulkhead connector as well. ive had the stock alternator go out, then the voltage regulator, the replacement alternator went bad and then the replacement voltage regulator. . . lots of head scratching!!

    Painless Harness Install

It is very overwhelming...that HUGE roll of wire. But it's do-able. I did another brand of kit with a friend of mine in his car. We basically started in one area and went elsewhere. Started out removing everything from the car factory (except the column wiring, turn/ign switches.) Pulled the...

    plug wires

ive heard from reputable people that there has been a gain in power their cars. they seem to be a very good plug wire, enough so that when the time comes for wires for me, ill be going straight to them

    Multi-Spark

Actually, your idle mixture on your carb, metering rods/jets, and also secondary jets can all contribute to rich reading plugs
  24. G

    Multi-Spark

Quick tip, go with a 'digital' triggering device rather than an analog (6a, 6al msd). I do believe summit has a digital system. A digital triggering device and will keep the multi-spark throughout the rpm range, not die out at around 3,000 rpm to a single spark like a msd 6a/6al will.

    autometer gauges?

I personally wouldn't spend the money, you can make that little harness pretty cheap with some time. Full sweep is prefered, however $$$ sent me to short sweep.

will a 68 dart amp gauge handle 78 amp alt?

I wouldn't do it unless i had another 10ga wire directly to the starter relay at the minimum. For what its worth i run a 90amp alternator with 6gauge output wire to the battery +

    Just wont go

To avoid any confusion, vacuum is read in inches of mercury. So you are reading 15in-hg, not 15psi. You can use some carb or throttle body cleaner and spray it along any intake/carb sealing surfaces with the engine running.. Carb base, where the intake meets the head, do you have all your ports...

    Just wont go

I'd start at checking for vacuum leaks. You'll probably need to mess with your idle screws to dial it in. What kind of carb? 20* timing at idle is probably going to be too much, depending on your build and fuel. I would stick 10-14* for a mild street motor fwiw, my 318 idles at about...
