    magnum force coilover conversion

C'mon, it wouldn't be a Mopar if we didn't take two steps back for every step forward. (just kidding.) (kinda)

1967 Dodge Dart GT Power Steering turns all the way to the lock to the right

    1. Grab a large breaker bar from your tool box. 2. Find whichever of your son's idiot friends was "working" on the car. 3. Beat appropriately. Short of that, yeah, give everything a once over and try adjusting the valve on top of the box per the manual.

    Caster Angle on Manual Steering

If you don't do a lot of tight parking and aren't running really wide front tires, you can get away with 2.5* positive. It also depends on what your parking tactics are. Going down the road, you won't notice it much at all.

It's not the message, it's the delivery.

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

2 whole weeks? Wow, I remember when I ordered something from a catalog and it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, and that was for items in stock. I would hazard to say that the reception you are getting on this thread has more to do with the underlying anger you are displaying here and not...

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

All I gotta say is this, I've dealt with John in the past. Hopefully, I will get to do more with him in the future. He took the time to deal with my lameness and is a man of his word. I know I've had things slip in spite of my best efforts and if any of you can say you haven't, you need to back...

    LCA's and ball joints - 73 B body

Keep the press in joints for the moment and scrounge up a new (to you) pair of lower arms. 73 up B bodies should all be the same and reasonably affordable (means dirt cheap). Do it right the first time and not have to worry about it again. Trust me, you'll have plenty of other details to stress...

    LCA's and ball joints - 73 B body

The answer is just tack, but they were threaded? I've seen 'em in the parts book, but never ran across them in person. Are you planning on using the press in ball joints that you just bought?

    Ball joint problems?

Control arms fail. It happens. It is a 40 year old part. I don't have any extra upper arms, but maybe someone here does.
  17. Revhendo

    Ball joint problems?

THIS is my guess at the problem. Or you could just have a control arm that has decided to retire.

    shock plate pads?

Yep, just depends on what you have access to. If you have a welder on hand and a washer or nipple piece to pop in there, then definitely. If you happen to find a pair in the boneyard on your way over to your buddies house who has the welder, then you can spend more time just drinking beer with...

    shock plate pads?

The C body shock plates for the Isolated suspension are going to have larger locating holes for the insulator pads if I recall correctly.

    Dillinger Chassis???

I've dealt with John, he's a great guy. I've seen his work here for years and it's always top notch. When he started offering products, I didn't hesitate.

    clamping springs..

That's a good pic of a Mopar launch. If you go to the drags, take notice that most Mopars will rise on a launch while other brands will squat.
  25. Revhendo

    clamping springs..

Clamping to front of the springs does not keep the leaves from seperating as was suggested. When the wheel rotates forward, the axle housing rotates in the opposite direction. It's one of the reasons a Chrysler spring has a shorter front segment and a longer rear segment. Refer to Rick's...

Mustang Style IFS Swap 1968 Dart

That ignore button looked awesome. I took it. I'm enjoying all of the suspension info here. I like the RMS setup, but I see that there are folks out there doing quality work also.

Mustang Style IFS Swap 1968 Dart

A lowered car has a lower center of gravity which improves handling. The illustration would be taking a freeway offramp at 60 in a Viper and then doing the same maneuver in a Ramcharger. Which one falls over first? (Granted it's over simplified and other factors come into play, but you get the...

    XV Motorsports Steering column

It's either an Ididit or a CPP. It uses all GM sourced parts (but then, so did later Mopar tilt columns). Have I personally used one? Nope. I have had talks with the folks over at Ididit though, and I believe they still have a 70 Charger column of mine. Ask them for pics of their mounting...
