Stroker I agree with you I've been a tech at the same dealer for over 18 years now and have seen it happen time and time again. I would rather loose a couple tenths here and there rather than have the car come back again with issues but not everybody thinks that way.

AGREE!! Flat rate time has alot to do with good or decent techs turning into hacks just to try to make time. Warranty flat rate times any more are a joke.

Should be a little less than 60 ohms you have the can wires shorted to each other. Damb the Chrysler factory training is good for something.

agree the only way i wait til 5 or 6k for an oil change is if i run fully synthetic

the bigger tube allows the pump to pull more oil so more oil flow through the engine.

The sludge issues come from a lack of oil changes i have seen several at work that have 150,000 + on them and no sludge issue at all but like stroker said it's not that great of an engine I get better fuel mileage with my hemi 1500 than the guys do with the 4.7L.

If i was going to do it i would go with the 3.5L they are used in the chargers and 300 in a rear wheel drive configuration so you may be able to find a wrecked one and get the engine and trans assembly as a good starting point. Secondly the 3.5L run very well with a few cheap mods and some open...
