    Ripped off

I will just keep this simple and to the point. As soon as I did get the claim from paypal from Mr Moore and read what his claim of the issue was, I responded form a list of paypal options. I choose to have him send the carb back so I could assess the problem and then I would know why he made the...

    Motor and tranny builder?

I am in the Metro Atlanta area and can help. Email me: [email protected] or call me: 770-500-5413. I have built Mopar motors from 225 to 440 and both 904's to big block 727's. If I can not help you I likely know others that can, David.

    WIW: '71 Dodge Demon Sizzler

Looks like a good deal. Check the fender tag for the code A59. That is the code for a Sizzler pkg Demon. Also the only engines avail were a 225 or a 318 so the vin code would be a B or G engine code. My Sizzler is a real A59 car originally a B engine code 225, now with a 440.

    Thermo quad accelerator pump removal,

After you take the carb apart(10 long screws with 2 in the choke tower behind the accel pump cluster)and remove the S link from the accelerator pump stem, prop up the carb top with a screwdriver handle under the driver side booster. Then take a punch or #2 phillips screwdriver and center over...

    therm quad size

The quickest way to tell cfm is by turning the carb upside down and reading the #'s stamped on the primary butterflies: #2-310 or 2-315 is always an 800 cfm; #2-314 is always an 850 cfm. This holds true on all oem and the SuperQuads.

I need pics of Demons. Any of them. Restored or not.

This is my real A59 Sizzler package Demon that is V2 Hemi Orange. I am on my fourth engine since I bought the car in 1994. It now sports a '68 440 engine with 2" TTI headers, Holley Street Dominator intake, tricked-out 950+cfm T.Q. carb, 727 trans with low band apply forward manual valve body...

    Cruise control ever available?

It was a factory option on the Dart Brougham and Valiant Brougham in '75 and '76 on both the 225 and 318 engines. I am not sure about prior years and models. I have this factory option from a '75 Dart with the 225 slant six, David.

    '65 Barracuda custom shifter knob.

I've been wanting to change my stock '65 B'cuda console shifter knob for a while now. So I decided on a T handle style and if I want to use the stock black shifter ball, I can. I made the T out of solid 3/4" aluminum bar and added finger grooves to the front to better grip the handle. To...

How much interest is there in a Demon registry?

I would be willing to also; mine is a non original(drive train is in dry storage)A59 Sizzler but I have two build sheets and fender tag. I am in the process of a 440 installation and have never cut or altered anything that would permanently change the car, David.

    Thermoquad ?s

The key everyone seems to miss, at least newbies and rookies, is tune tune tune. Speaking of which, do you have tune kits? Or a box of primary /secondary jets in a kit? Like above? Quote above is so true! And yes I do have new T.Q. tuning kits for all 1972-1984 oem and SuperQuads and for...

    Thermoquad ?s

That increase in performance is about 30 more hp. It would cost about $500 in mild head porting and a performance valve job to pick up .3 sec in the 1/4 mi. I do not know how well-jetted/tuned the 800 Edelbrock was for your 318 but with a smogger T.Q. calibrated too lean, you could have lost...

    Thermoquad ?s

I guess I will chime-in about T.Q.'s that have been 'sitting' unused for a while. The weak link would be the two x-style o-rings; they will dry up and will cause an over rich idle. Most people are unaware that the o-rings swell when gasoline contacts the o-rings but when the carb is not in use...

No big deal Bill! I figured you somehow missed the tuning info so I posted it here to make it more visible. Rumblefish, I 'm doing just fine! I did some testing-n-tuning on my latest large cfm T.Q. model 1.5 months ago at Atlanta Dragway. I did some mods I had never tried and the carb is...

    Thermoquad ?s

Don't confuse AFB'S, AVS'S and Holley carbs VS the ThermoQuad in cfm rating. This is like comparing Mopar muscle to an MG Midget! 800 cfm T.Q.'s were used on smogger late 70's-'84 318 engines with single exhaust. You can even bolt onto a bone stock 318, an 800 cfm 340 carb and with no...

    F.A.S.T Duster?
