Got the 67 vert back and it loooks pretty good. I need to learn how to use this camara.

Looks like you have some nice cars I dont live to far from you. Buy the way that cover was just on the convertible top to protect it for a short time while it was being buffed

Thanks but the pins were rebuilt and doors aligned prior to painting witched has worked real well they are back on now and look real good.

The paint still has to be cut and buffed, it will be fine.

Its 67 bright red I shouldn't have used the flash it is over exposed. You can see the real color in some shots where the flash didn't get to it. I'll post more when I can take them in natrual light. Thanks for the coments, Tom

Took a few more pics of the convert in the booth. Hope to get to drive it again in a week or two.

Nice car don't see many w/dana rears that must have been a special order.

Went by to check out the 67 convert today. The guy has done a great job with this car. After he cuts it in it will look like a mirrow. He has done more than I expected for what I paid him. I think a tip is going to be in order. The pics suck I forgot take a real camera had to use the cell.

Yep the living room is where all the good stuff is. The bumpers and all the trim. I can get away with it because it's the wifes car. (Thats my story and I'm sticking to it) LOL

Thanks for all the comments. I was lucky that there wasn't any dings. Another thing that might help someone is for the black line I went to a arts and craft store and got a paint pen. It worked real good fit right in the grove. Looks like it is going to be a week or so before it is finished...

I used some that one of our members had talked about. It's sold at lowes for polishing their truck boxes its called Diamond brite. I also used argent silver in the surounds and did the black in the grate.

Went by the paint shop and picked the grills up for the 67. Brought them home and took them apart. Took some time polishing the chrome and then a little paint. They are ready now to go back on the car when the man calls. So what do you think of a rookie resto.

Whats good is I towed it to his house. And he wants to do an old car. He has been doing ricers and now wants to get a real car. I went by his house in the 69 and lit em up one time for him. I will post pics in a month or so.

i'm going to miss my Vert. I droped it off at the paint guy. It will be a month befor I see it again. He did tell mhen he got it right he would call me to come over and check out the boby lines. I just miss the driver , that car is just s blast to drive. The last pick is a 74 # matching 360 that...

I might have to start looking at some stuff like that. The car dosn't hook very good with this new motor. I'm going to try to get it ready for the Mopar Madness event in may. Want to try to get some track time on it to see what changes I might have to make. Thanks

I finally got the weather and the time to work in my favor. Installed my new valve covers and air cleaner. Also while I was there installed a torque strap that turned out to be a little more fun than I expected. Thought i'd throw some pics up here to share

Thanks for the comments. I wish we still had one of those real drive-in theaters. I guess I should be happy w/ the old drive-up resturant. What a change from last sunday, it was almost 80 here now the high today will be around 30.

Sunday was a great day in VA. We took the convert. to a drive n. that has been open for 52 years and had the top down. Ordered the Super Smitty burger. It is great to ride in these cars!

That is sharp feels good to drive one after all that work. Just all those thoughts going thru the head ( did I tighten that bolt ) that get me. Good Job!
