X2 I used the same stuff after primer and it looks great. I have to come back with a green scrubby and knock the highs down a little so I could wipe the dash with a cloth but it turned out really nice.

I agree I did the same thing as mcnoople. I also sprayed some on the half moon gear and inside the regulator. Be REALLY careful though if you put to much force the arms will bend and then you are screwed.

Not sure if this helps but when I was looking for tuff wheels I saw that Jegs had a mopar adapter that if I am not mistaken was made by Tuff.

Okay I think I have decided I am going to replace my cluster. I am tired of everytime one thing changes something else breaks. My question does anyone know of a connector I can use to tap the factory plug rather then cutting it off? Any suggestions would be awesome.

The motor works for a minute or so then bogs down and starts stuttering across the windshield. I think it may be the switch warming up and pulling a bunch of amps. I am trying to find the mopar part number for the switch

Thank you guys worked perfect. It helped with some of the electrical problems but not the really the wipers. I am going to pull them clean everything and re grease and see it helps. They do seem to be reacting a bit better.

I ordered a new switch for my 65 Barracuda do I need to bring it to a locksmith to change it over or how do I remove the cylinder? I have never noticed a way to remove the cylinder.

lol That is to funny. By the way when you say the console tray I assume you mean various dash trim pieces? If so then my guess does make sense. The heater box I was referring to is usually under the dash.

Sully1190 I learned a tip using epoxy putty to fill those missing pieces. I used it to repair a steering wheel. Basically you press the putty into the VERY clean area and then prime paint and polish.

I just finished pulling mine and you are missing a washer on the outside of the linkage and the clip is a weird locking clip. I can describe it but I don't have a picture. It has an area the nib fits in the it seats under a lock with a smaller area it locks into.

I went to Lowes with the nut and stud but could not find studs. I am going to try using a flange bolt from the inside of the dash with a matching nut.

Well today I got into my dash to try and find my wiper issue and instead of the nut coming off the stud the WHOLE stud came out. Genius I am I tried to remove my nut and I screwed the threads on the stud. So now I am trying to find out what the threads are on the stud so I can replace it.

Something I found when removing my instrument cluster was the ignition switch would hang on the lower edge of the dash hole. I don't know if it applies in this case but it is a pain because there are L shaped latches at the top and the catch at the bottom.

I ended up mounting it on the steering column. Same exact tach as mopardt. Looks great. It was a bit of a pain getting it connected but it worked out well in the end. Side note question. On a slant six where should the RPM be set? Secondly the redline indicator where should it be? I tested it...
