Be Cool Radiator & Fan module

I ran a BeCool radiator with their twin 14 inch fans mounted in a shroud assembly on my 12.5 comp built 440 and in stop and go traffic in 90degree heat it never went over 185 degrees. It was worth every bit of the almost 2k it cost. Solved my running hot problems and looked great.

HELP!! need experts advice on 440 trouble.

Go to the Edelbrock's web site, look under the tech installation pages for their RPM heads for Mopars and the last thing they say is allow a cool down of 2 to 3 hours after initial start up, and RETORQUE the head bolts. They make em they should know. It was alot of work on my engine to do, but...

HELP!! need experts advice on 440 trouble.

I have to ask, after you first got the engine up to opperating temp, did you shut it down, pull the headers, valve covers, etc., and retorque the head bolts? Its an obsolute must with aluminum heads! A real pain in the a$$, but you would'nt believe how much they loosen. You could already have a...

    gear drive

I looked Summits web and Milodon does make a gear drive for SB's but its not like the BB. It consists of all the gears and hardware and mounts under the stock timming cover. Its a little more complicated to install. Still has the great sound I'm sure but not the eye candy!

    gear drive

I would like any input from someone who has used or using a Milodon gear drive unit on their big block. I'm considering adding one, mostly for looks and sound. Any thing special for install, looks like its a bolt on and would look great with my CSR water pump.

    440 header question

The headers on my 67 FB with a 440 are the same configuration, I had a clearance problem with one tube on the drivers side getting hit by the threaded part of the pitman arm. Had to grind off the part of the treaded end above the nut and cotter pin and put a small divit in the header tube to fix it.

    external oil pick up

Ok guys, I purchased the Milodon external oil pick up system. Pump, hose, pick up, not cheap. I thought I could install the pick up into te Milodon oil pan I have, but long story short, I cant, so I need to buy a $255 dollar oil pan which pushes the cost of this whole thing over $600 for parts...

440 Dart cooling fan & shroud

George, I took some bigger pictures and did some measuring. The shoud at the center is about 2 1/4" from the radiator. The unit was BeCool # 134-95007, it includes all wiring with relays, temp switch and mounting brackets. Cost me $571.99 two years ago from Jegs. Heres the pictures, good luck.

Pro Parts header install / RB in a '69 Barracuda

I have the same headers on my 67, a real pain in the a$$. Some of the things I did to ease the pain. On the pass side I used a 4" hole saw to put the whole in the fender well. I made a cover to dress it up after header was installed. Drives side was trial and error untill I got the clearence...
