    Sway Bar 69 Cuda

I agree with Murray, no reason to cut the welds. I did mine by digging out the old one with a screwdriver and old knife. I cleaned the ends of the sway bar, removed any burrs and lightly sanded that section of the sway bar (from the round mount on the end over to where the bushing sits). I used...

68 cuda steering column, mesh outer tube

Neal the one on my 1967 Barracuda is "slightly rippled". I believe the "mesh" was part of the collapsing steering wheel safety feature. In order to make sure it actually collapsed in an accident they "rippled" it.

    67 Cuda steering box removal

If it's the stock box, I say yes! I did it in my 1967 Barracuda without removing anything but the pitman arm and the bolts holding it on. It was a power steering box and I had to do a little twisting and turning, but yea it came out fine.

    New Springs

Due to a noticeable lean to the right, I'm going to be ordering new rear leaf springs for my 1967 Barracuda. I have approximately 13/16" lean to the right when compared to the left side. I measured from the top of the arch on the unibody down to the top of the axle housing. You...

    OEM front sway bar

I bought my car used so I really don't know what color the brackets were from the factory. Sorry!

    OEM front sway bar

Yes the bushings were a tight fit but I was able to use the pliers and KY to squeeze them into the brackets without breaking the weld. You wouldn't want to weld on them with the new bushings installed.

    OEM front sway bar

I did this without much trouble. I removed the bar and the supports on the cross member all together. I used a screwdriver to dig out the old rubber and get the mounts free from the bar. I put the supports in my vise and heated them to straighten them back out. I used a bead blaster to clean...

    Re-arching Leaf Spring question

I have the exact same setup in my 67 Barracuda. The leaf springs are sagging and again the right is worst than the left side. The right side is to the point the right rear is almost arched the other way. I figure it's about a wash nowadays with new springs or re-arching..... I can have...

Did i installed my sway bar wrong?

Yes it goes above the sway bar tab on the lower control arm. Here is a picture of the one in my 1967 Barracuda. My disk brake calipers hit the sway bar so I swapped sides with steering knuckles and moved the calipers to the rear...... works great!

/6 Torsion Bar Removal Help (with picture)

Yes, that is the LCA pivot bolt. However if you remove the nut and drive the LCA back it will still not help you to separate the torsion bar from the lower control arm. I have always found it beneficial to find a tool (or fabricate one) that will clamp to the torsion bar and allow you to drive...

Does anyone make repro 67-72 sway bar brackets?

    Swap k-frame without dropping engine?

I had the same problem with my 1967 Barracuda when I swapped out the original drum brakes to disc from a 1973 Duster. I had clearance problems with the brake caliper hitting the sway bar links. I swapped the spindles to the opposite side which allowed me to move the caliper to the "back" of...
