Don't know if you have "wheel spacers" or adaptors, but they can easily work loose and cause exactly what you describe....... Check the studs and nuts........Other than that, not sure what to tell ya'.....

We gotta be clear here........ Unless I'm mistaken, the Cuda has 10" rear brakes on it already......NO? Did they all come with 9's ? .......and if it DOES have 9's, WHY do I have to replace them with 10's ? I need some concrete here............

OK........ I got a nice 8-3/4 ready to go into my A-Body.....it's had the spring perches relocated, it's painted up and set up with new bearings and seals...... I KNOW I'll need new drums for the large bolt pattern, BUT what else from the Cuda will work? Will the backing plates and brakes...

Spindles checked out OK.......Inner bearing was changed and packed, and it's quiet now. BUT, I jacked it up and ran the rear wheels at low speed (car running) to check out some "wobble" I feel back there.......My wheels aren't the greatest for being "in round"..........guess it comes with...

Well Redfish, I would guess you're correct..........I just can't come up with anything else that could possibly make such a noise....... When I left the garage, I gave the guys the go ahead to change the bearings out even though they don't show any problems.......I'm prayin' that's the case...

Why would a lower ball joint make a sound that corresponds to the revolutions of the wheel, that literally "knocks" in perfect rhythm...........?.....especially when the lowers seem nice and tight?............. Seems if it were a lower, it would be nearly falling out of the car........But...

Jeepers........... Just started a couple days ago........When I turn the wheel to the left (while driving the car), the passenger side front is making a "clunking" sound, EXACTLY like a "CV Joint" on a FWD that needs grease or a change........ I have NEVER heard a bearing make this noise...

OK........Did your kit say it was for a "Chrysler" pump?? Any of the kits? The only seal kits I can find in existence are the Saginaw, and a Chrysler. No others.

So, that would be the "Chrysler" pump made by Federal........I assume.......

Are the steering column "collars" (bells) the same from 65 to 67??? I need to convert my 67 Cuda from column auto. to floor, and need the bells or collars or whatever you want to call them......Found some 65's.......WILL THEY FIT?? HUH?? :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

We had the same problem on a 67 with tires rubbing..........they hit the very lower lip of the front well......... I have modified them before by cutting a small kerf from the bottom up appx. 4" high, from 3/4" to flush with the fold.......then tack, waterproof, and re-attach the fender trim...

What car are you talking about?..........and exactly where is the sound you hear....is it IN the wheel or just behind it, OR is it up front by the firewall..........does it "moan", or just grind so that you feel it right in the steering wheel?
