Yup the early V8s didn't have any holes in the valve covers.Oil fill had a breather and was on the front of the intake and the rear breather on the back of the block.

This will be my 3rd,the 1st one a 63 nova with a econoline axle rode decent but wandered a bit.The 2nd was a 37 Chevy coupe and I used the original axle and that one was harsh spring wise but drove nice. That Falcon looks cool but I would of went with a teardrop scoop to be more period correct.

Some progress,engine and trans in and mounted,new floor structure is done as I dropped the cab and box 6" down over the frame.I also did get some 165/80/15s mounted and on up front.With the engine and trans in I have a idea of the ride height which is close.
