I have them on my car 68 ply val they fit tight but no problems have to put starter in first remove oil filter center link idler and pitman arms , hedders have to in from bottom hope this helps ya out

Hey can you tell me what you used to changes to a regular filter not the 90° after you move the housing what did you have to do to the block as far as housing goes is there anything special that I would need to convert this to a regular filter

Can you tell me what you did to change it what you used for on that block and is it is it is your changes it clear your headers my problem is the headers and the oil filter actually put installing the headers this is why I want to clear the filter and sometimes it's harder just to get it out...

I just went to install my Wiand 8004 intake manifold it lines up To heads only problem the front and rear cork gasket raise it up to high and away from the heads what do I do. ( any thoughts on gasket type metal or fiber ??? )

It doesn't look good , I don't see the need for it , I just reconditioned the intake also running an electric pump

My question is do you really need to have a by pass hose from the water pump to the intake ?

Just rebuild 273 engine installed Big cam hyd / adj drive train was looking into putting a intake valley pan . Are they worth the money ? Any advantages other than keeping the intake clean and cooler ?? Thank you in advance Ray

K I'm stuck I bought a cloyds true dnt roller it's has 3 keyways I'm using std o now when I bring up num 1 cyl compression stroke and put crank gear on it doesn't line up ? There are two zeros on gear one by teeth and one by the notch which one do I use?

Have a question fur ya book says bring #1 piston up compression stroke (TDC) put cam gear at 6:00 o'clock crank gear at 12:00 o'clock , the crank gear has 3 key ways O, A , R , so I'm using o setting , there is a zero right on the key slot , and one by the teeth which zero should I go by ??

Someone must of had the pan off before I hit this car , so if the pan has the slots use gasket with the tits rt? / just wasn't sure cause it has the other one on it with the 1/2 " lip around it ok thanks ( just dnt want any leaks )

Ok here it goes the gasket kit I bought for my 273 engine came with a lot of gaskets !!! My oil pan collar has slots in it both ends ok , now the gasket kit has two different type of robber gaskets for the pan inc the cork for the sides ( length ) of pan , Now when I took the pan off it had both...

Need help the shop I took my parts to be cleaned mixed the rod caps up there is no numbers I can't seam to tell which ones goes on the rods suggestions need help :blob:
