What is the longest lasting brand (maybe a part number) of water pump for my 74 440 AC car? I don't care about high volume or anything over a solid stock design. Don't even care if it is aluminum or lead or iron. Just solid and long lasting. Any suggestions? Thanks much :)

We have this 440 with 26k original. Very well maintained. Runs perfectly. Has a performer intake, 800 avs, shorty headers and 2.5 duals with H pipe. I will be having Don re-curve the dist and using his electronic box too. We have alot of the engine bay pulled out for a rack steering system...

440. 1974. Can I remove the timing cover w/o removing the oil pan? Do I have to drop the pan down or loosen it in any way? Thanks!
