    Alignment

Poorman’s alignment. First timer but everything passes the eyeball test. I’m sure it’s not perfect but it’ll get me down the road until I get it onto a proper alignment rack. Have researched some DIY tools but haven’t pulled the trigger. Set my ride height. Did the string line around all fours...

I’ve been assimilated by the BORG!!!!

Well my power steering gear box was due for a rebuild. Thing leaked and would have cost an arm and a leg to ship to Firm Feel. Or to ship a core back to them. If I was going to give up an arm and a leg for shipping and a rebuild, may as well give into the BORG!!!eson!!!! I couldn’t pass up...

    Early A-body Driveshaft Safety Loop

I picked up this Early A-body Driveshaft Safety Loop and tried to install it yesterday but it will not work on my car. This is a very nice unit and fits the floor well but the drive shaft angle and the lowered tailshaft of the tko-500 are a problem. The other thing is that the TTI X-pipe...

    Opinions on FirmFeel???

Another "while I'm at it"....a never ending moparism I was thinking of replacing my power steering gear box. It is leaking and I wouldn't mind having a tighter feel. Are the Firm Feel poser steering gear boxes worth the $350 bones? or should I just rebuild mine. They have remans from...

Caltracs and 3/4 Offset Shackle Kit?

I currently have brand new oem style 5-leaf springs and the rear end is pretty raked with that 70's look. Of course right now there is no convertible top, trunk lid, a full gas tank or interior to weigh the rear down. I would like the car to be lowered to where the wheel lip drops below the top...

    Wheel Spacers

Hey guys. The Stockton TQ2 wheels are rubbing against the disc brake caliper. I don't want to shave either one. Any problems with using a 5mm wheel spacer on my front wheels? They are made to fit 100mm (3.9 in) and up bolt pattern. Any real safety concerns. My thought is no but thought I'd ask...

Broken Suspension Tools from American Muscle

I got the kit sold by ESPO (same as the one from Just suspension) made by American Muscle I believe. Well I managed to break the upper control arm bushing remover/installer and I also broke the lower control arm pivot shaft remover. The tools seemed to be heavy duty. The first lower...

WTF with the 5 x 4 BC and getting axles?

I have called Randy's and Strange to get new axles for the A-body 8 3/4 I have from a 1970 Duster but they cannot make them. WTF aren't there enough mopar guys out there that still need the 5 x 4 pattern who don't want to buy a new set of wheels just for the bigger pattern on a stronger axle...

    SWAY bar from 67-72

Ok here is the story. I have a 66 valiant convertible with stock 273. Not long ago I happened to notice a sway bar tab on the passenger side when I put new wheels on it. I was scratching my head because I didn't think they came out with sway bars until 67. I guess my lower control arm must...
