Hang with me cause I find this one is strange. 2 different 2 speed wiper motors have had this issue as well as an old switch and an NOS one. When the car is not running the wipers run fine and park, with the car at a low idle they will USUALLY park with anything over 1000rpm the wipers...

So I've chased this issue for some time with no luck. If the car is not running the wipers run fun and will park once the car is running and charging around 14.2 volts verified with a multimeter the wipers will hesitate to park but continue to run I have to work the switch back and forth...

The blue wire from the ballast is getting warm the wire itself is fine but the factory cover for the connector has started to melt. The car runs fine etc and the wires themself look fine. Its an MSD .8ohm ballast as well. Could it just be 38 year old plastic not holding up?

Need to get some real gauges in my car, want to get an oil pressure and water temp gauge in somewhere jsut not sure where and in what configuration, want to stick with autometer gauges. I already have a tach that sits on my console so would like to see what you guys have done for gauges.
