i dont care much about power i just have allwas wanted a super charger. couldent i just fun a larger pully to make less boost and not have the fuel problem
well i like the sound of a superchargerJust curious, why do you want a supercharger but you don't care about power? Just seems like added costs and extra failure points for no real reason. I'd at least want to go fast if I was going to spend the money and take the risk.
i decied to use a eaton m90Get 2 and a Flying toilet. you could probably blow through that but it would take some work, better to draw through: Mount compressor to top of slant intake with an adapter plate or thread (?) that to a tapped intake hole Bolt it up and make an other adapter plate for the carb on top. Your pulling through the carb so it will feel larger than it is and your intake will be force inducted so your hole is not going to make much of a difference. you may get 5 psi out of that but remember our motors are 3.7L and that blower is sized for a 1-2.0. If you lower the pulley diameter and overdrive it, it will over heat the air, not real good for power. If you drive it as is it wont produce alot of boost. Blowing through a draw through carb is alot of mods to the bleeds, accelerator pump and other stuff as well as boost referencing the fuel pump as the bowl will be pressurized further screwing up the boosters. I'd draw through it on that 1bbl. A Rochester Monojet is 30 CFM larger than an 1920 at 250 CFM>
i was aware of that problemCan draw through that too. Carb in the back.....better size. But remember that those SC's are designed to run dry to fuel injectors, the teflon seals will potentially get eaten by fuel from the carb. Not sure how long they will last but its been done with Eatons.

i was thinking about that with the supercharger inplace of the turboYes, I was there 10 years ago doing a 350 Autolite (by Holley) 2bbl. Like I said, "alot of mods..."

a cd is not very good bragging rights
i was thinking about that but dont want to mess around with port injection. so im just going to use a supersix intake and eaton 90Good idea. I didn't know those M-B Kompressor superchargers were so small and affordable ($200). Looks just slightly larger than an RV2 compressor. My idea would be to replace the 1 bbl with a throttle body from a modern 6 cyl and add MPFI ports on the manifold. I have some 1 bbl aluminum manifolds to play with. Indeed, I would grab a "Kompressor" label off a junkyard M-B and glue it to the trunk to make people say "WTF" and challenge me. "OK, $50 I have one under the hood."
