this would have happened if who I was doing it for wouldn't have backed out. My son and son-in-law. Look, I went 12.9's in a truck with a 200k mile 5.9. Trust me, a 475 hp 440 in a gutted to the max Diplomat or 4 door dart would have gone 10.9 's.$ 5000 budget for the rv440 in the future gets my vote, not for 10's but a good start.
I don’t know about that . I have 525 hp/ 500 tq in my 69 Dart and I will be tickled pink if I hit 10.90s .

I was going to gut this project down to about 2600 - with the BB in it. Trust me, if you don't care, you can get there... LOL
What model is it ? The 440/727 / rear end / suspension/Steering has to weigh 1600-1800 lbs or more .
I don't have it, we didn't buy a Diplomat.
