1943 Dodge WC , brake drum removal

so our old boat hauler inour yard is this old rig . We are doing the brakes and not sure how to get the drums off on the rear . Any help would be appreciated

The picture of the drum is with the axle out already

It surely doesn't look like there is a nut on the housing, but there almost has to be. Tell you what you do. Call these cats.

Google is also your friend - check out this youtube video - looks like there is a nut on the spindle under that plate in the middle then you take the outer bearing out and tge drum slips off. Looks like a hell of a beefy trck - nice!

Does it unscrew? Just looking at the two studs on the axel they look like they are held in place from rotating when the rim is on?

It appears to me,the three holes that had countersunk screws to retain drum.
The two other holes are threaded, run bolts into them to push drum off hub. If its tight/rusted to hub just rattle it with an air hammer on hub face.a little water at hub will help break up rust.

It took me a minute to figure it out when I did the brakes on my '51 Biz Coupe. The amazing thing to me is that there is just that one little key on the axle to hub!

64 Dart 270 , thanks for the video . Big nut under the plate and it came apart easy . Appreciate the help from everyone
