1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build

-
Look up EFI University and have him go to Ben Schrader’s class. Holley and Haltech have dedicated classes as well but Ben’s I think is the best all around class. Especially if he’s interested, that’s pretty damn cool.
YES! We've been looking at these, we also run the Holley snipers and the kids has talked about leaning it as well so he can tune his own car, 62 Corvair "soon to have holley sniper " kit he would have 4 cars at his disposal to play with. but I'll also look into Ben's classes...!

And I’m beginning to think this @seanner guy was right in post 745. What’s the new hemi for the car or the D100? Is the hemi in the car not enough? Have you driven it? I have so many unanswered questions. I’m just glad you have the same sickness we all do.
Ouch! He doesn't know what he's talking about, he has a touch of the tism...

So the "plan" was to sit on it and build it slow, while getting to car sorted out. Once everything is working well and the bugs sorted I'd make the big CI swap, the plan was made in my head for like a year or two. Then swap the 5.7 into the D100. maybe?

Sounds like a solid plan. I just want to see that car on the road. Here’s a link to Ben’s classes.

Quick update. We ( @seanner and I ) have taken a few weekends to perfect a full 3" 2-1-2 system running 3 Bassani race muffler. The sound is amazing! It fits tight to the car and has enough movement and mounting. It goes without saying that we are very pleased with the outcome.

How the hell do you make a statement like that and not post a video with a sound clip!!! Come on! We want to hear it!

any reason you didn't go with a 'true' dual system including a second muffler the other side?
neil.
My guess would be better scavenging. I would have thought a length of combined pipe, but then a split to 2 mufflers for less back pressure. Maybe being a race muffler, there's not enough BP to worry about.

at the very least the single section should be a bigger bore than the dual section or it 'could' be a restriction. all down to the power of the motor i guess.
