I have backed it out of the garage washed it and drove it back in.... maybe 40 feet. Since I have installed the new fuel system. I have had it running for about an hour off the ground and in gear.

I got the build card from Chrysler Historical today! I will post that up tomorrow, but I did decode it tonight. The SO number matches the hidden numbers on the core support and left q-pnl lip. If I had a fender tag it would look like this. Transcription of the build card (IBM Card). And the list of transcribed options.

The Chrysler Build Card. They don't know that code 367 is the Formuls-S package. This car and the black F/S are from Roy Barnett Motors here in Portland.

Well been busy getting the dash back into the car also installed the windshield with the new gasket. New carpet put down. and got all the interior trim panels powder coated. I also had to make a new cargo/trunk access board.

This dang bb a-body radiator was expensive and I sent it out to be rebuilt. but.... it is done !

Looks great! Busy guy I see. Unfortunately Im gonna have to do the same with my rad....re-use bottom and top tanks and have the core redone...

I am going to butt weld the new metal into the b-pillar for the striker post tomorrow. They had the post welded directly to the b-pillar and nut.
Then off for her maiden voyage! =) Possibly a short drive to my buddy's transmission shop.
A little low on transmission fluid and a delay going into gear, more than typical, but think I just want to get the tranny done and behind me. She has been sitting a long time.

sireland, yeah, I know, it really was a good price... It just wasn't something I had factored into the first phase with Christmas.
I tried to find one to get by, but there wasn't anything usable out there right now and the swap season hasn't started here yet.
I also had to buy another 67 core radiator 125. which I needed for the side straps and bottom tank since mine were modified and dented. I figured if your going to do it and spend that kind of money. Do it once do it right and be done with it!

Just had the rad in my Dart done this past summer...$425...and thats just a dinky 273 one!!!...EEK....

Darwin, the radiator guy said they are more expensive because of the "bubble top" tank design. I suppose a square top would have been cheaper. How much? no idea...
He said he hooked me up and only charged me his cost on the new core and 100 labor to do it.

John...I also had the one done in my '77 Ford F250 Camper Special w/460 with BIG rad, and it was only $450. The core is way bigger than the Dart's. Color me surprised!
I wonder why a square top would be cheaper than a round top? Aren't the procedures for rebuilding the same for both units, and , since you would be supplying the tanks anyway...???

Guess the square top is a more typical design where the bubble top is a special make.
Great lookin car there Rocky. I don't think I would have passed it up either !!

A little creaky at the start but it got better. I have now officially have put 1.2 miles on it! woohoo!! lol
