This build is starting to look very solid!! I love '67-'69 Barracuda's..as much or more than Dusters 8)

I just got a '69 notch and have had it about two weeks. I want to start a thread on it, however the build will probably be to slow to generate intrest lolo.

It lives inside now.

Its been a while since I updated but I dont have much. I need to replace the trunk pan, I cant really afford a trunk pan(money need to go to more important things like seats and school) so I am going to put in a flat plate with some bracing on the bottom. We sell steel where I for and I the main fabricator so thats not a problem. I have been playing around with the engine too. It now had an Eddy 4 BBL intake, I have the starter hooked up and she turns over nicely. My dad is friends with a local guy who rebuilds carbs on the side. Hes hooking me up with 600cfm Holley. Thats all I have for now.

Evan

Nice work... keep it up. Its nice to see a bustrucket turned into a carrabuda

Good work its good to see more of us younger guys going Muscle and not rice

HAHA My parents brought me up right, my dad has been mopar guy since 1967. Kinda born into it. My neighbor has a ricer with a big fart can, cant wait until Im louder than him.

Evan - I applaud your drive , efforts and work  !
It really warms my cynical Blue Collar heart to see someone your age who's really into the classics !

It's also nice to see a w.i.p. , especially from someone who's going to "Boy Scout Patch University" ( no disrespect to you personally ; I just can't stand that those guys will scout their students to cheese-*** tyre stores and grease pits , to pay-off their school debts ) .

Nevertheless ...
Keep up the beautiful work !
Great colour choice ; I'm a sucker for B5 and B7 blues !

Please , don't butcher that dash for a radio !! It's tough to find dashes with un-butchered radio openings these days , especially Rallye Gauge dashes !:angry7:

Again - keep up the great work , Evan :-D .

btw , those wheel covers are from a 1970 - c.1974 Plymouth , with 14" wheels .
Just letting you know about that ; not telling you that you're wrong in using them :toothy10:

I bought a rebuilt carb for $150, tried to get the engine running yesterday but could only get putters. It wasnt getting and fuel, the 42 yr old pump was shot( I wasnt surprised). Picked up a new one today and it fired right up! I also finished my floor pan last week.

Evan

Heres the carb, I still need to blast the valve covers.

The floor is covered in parts to I didnt take a pic I will get one. I have been looking at that Lizard Skin stuff, to me it looks like undercoating. So I have undercoated the inside of the floor. What do you guys think?

This is how you do it Evan. Keep pluggin along. Great job, man.

Great job! Keep up the good work. Are you going to Wyotech in Blairseville? My son is thinking of going there. He joined the Marines reserves, so he will go to basic after he graduates in the spring. Probably won't be able to start school till next spring. Good luck with school and your build.

Kork340, yes Im still going to Wyotech. I start this April and Ill be there for a year. I was going to start last September but housing was full.

Evan, good for you. I actually graduated from there back in like 90, but it was called Vale Tech at the time. Much better school now. I left there and enlisted in the Air Force. Now I'm a boiler tech. Don't let my experience or anyone else's opinion sway you. You'll get out of it what you put in to it. And judging by your work on the cuda you will have no problems. Papers seem to mean alot anymore. Go to school and get yer papers. Believe in yourself and you will do fine!

Yesterday was a strange day in NE PA, it was over 60 degrees. I did a little work on my car, The floor has no more holes in it. Half is coated in undercoating, the other half need to be primed and undercoated. Here is a couple pics of the new radiator and the floor.
