Guess I need to add mine to the list....

Here's mine. Just got it about a month and a half ago and have been enjoying the hell out of it before the Ohio weather turns unbearable. Planning on adding the correct '69 stripe when I have the quarters patched, has a little bubbling. It's a 408/727 with a 4.10, planning on changing the gear as well to make it easier to drive longer distances with my wife and son. He's 18 months and constantly goes to the garage door and makes car noises just wanting to look at it for a few minutes. Makes me one proud dad! Haha

Sweet Dart!! Im curious, did someone do away with the marker lights and fill the fenders and quarters in? or is the shell a 67 with all 69 trimmings?

It's a '69 model, but I haven't really had much opportunity to really dive in and check out small things like the lack of sidemarkers. I assumed the quarters had been replaced and figured maybe the manufacturer left them blank for 67-68s. The front fenders, no clue. I like the look myself, as I've always preferred 68s to be honest, so I might just put a 68 grille in it. It's definitely more hot rod than resto already, and was a slant 6 car from the factory, so I don't see myself ever being concerned about the originality of it.

I can tell you from experience that if you want to put a 68 grille in it, you need to change the fenders... headlight buckets are in a different spot.. thats one of a few minor differences..

Might as well ad my 69 lm23p 340 4 speed swinger. Can add photo once I get squared away w new computer. Trying to drag photo over from my trade thread with my phone w no luck.

I think you could almost create a thread called "Black-'69-Dart-rollers-outta-the-paint-shop-but-not-yet-assembled".......'cuz here's mine. LOL

Still have one, my 4th over the last 35 years a few more counting 67&8s
My first was a 340 4-speed bench seat car yellow with black stripe and vinyl top.
That car is why I am a Mopar guy today. Seems I always have at least one dart
around or I don't feel right.

Add mine to the list. 1969 - GTS - 340 - Auto. Currently in the restoration process.

JonnyDart,

What color orange is your Dart specifically? Also, where did you get that stripe (it looks to be custom to me)? I am planning on painting my Dart orange and I really like shade of orange of your car. I am also planning on adding a stripe to my car.

Thank u, I love the color too, its not quite orange, its not quite red. I don't know what the name or paint code is, this is how I got the car. The stripe is custom, its actually painted on. If u ever saw the car up close u would see the paint quality is very poor, I believe it is single stage. At some point someone just did a quick spray bomb over all the dings and dents, I just polished it up to make the best of it. If and when I get the body redone I plan on keeping the same color/stripe combination. I'll just tell the body shop to match it.
