Looking into ditching the spacer between the intake and thermostat housing. The only reason i have it is my temp switch is too big and I didn't have a port left in the intake that was big enough.

This one has mixed reviews. Not sure why it has two spades.
Because it is a temperature switch for controlling a fan, not a temp sender for a temp gauge. Which are you seeking, and if you are wanting a temp sender for you gauge, is it the stock temp gague?

Figure while I'm at it mine as well get the correct heater hose fittings for my air gap.

If I used a fitting like this. I could reuse the switch I have now. It might put he heater hose higher. Unless I put the switch on top and the heater hose out the side.

5/16" OD = 1/16 NPT
3/8" OD = 1/8 NPT
1/2" OD = 1/4 NPT
5/8" OD = 3/8 NPT
3/4" OD = 1/2 NPT
1" OD = 3/4 NPT
1 3/8" OD = 1 NPT

Ya know, you could get an all female tee with a male-to-male nipple with one end in the bottom of the tee and the other end of the nipple downward into the manifold, and then have the sensor face out the front side opposite the hose connection and it might be out of the hoses.
