Here are my plans for 2026

71 duster- replace the intake and exhaust manifold fix a broken mounting stud to elevate some pesky leaks on slant six. In process of that now. Then assemble and install a 83/4 3:55 sure grip at some point. But main goal is to keep it a nice driver and enjoy a few cruise ins, car shows/meet and greats etc…

1st 67 barracuda- my so called street car, I need to pay someone to do the body work or get serious about doing it myself. Haven’t even started the engine since replacing the heads and installing the dual quad tunnel ram. It’s a shelf for all my junk in the garage. Shame on me.

2nd 67 barracuda- I need to decide what this project will turn into or maybe just sell it. It’s a rusty parts car but I have enough parts to assemble a drag car with it. Narrowed Dana 60 spooled 4:56 gears, mini tubs, I have multiple engine and trans combinations to play with to just have fun.

I wish you all fun, time, money, motivation, and health. Happy New Years!

After getting mine on the road last fall (after a 3 year restoration) my goal is to get the last few details looked after and hit the cars n coffee and show n shines next summer.

Abody to make some test hits at the track.

Bbody for summer street cruising.

Ebody to get moving on higher end ProStreet build efforts.

I have one more garage spot. A Cbody? Umm. Not at all out of the question.

Get bigger garage(s?) Umm. That is always a need.

Almost done with my 24’x30’ just gotta get power and garage door installed. Did it all myself except the concrete. I made sure the walls are plenty high enough a future lift.

I need to get the wipers working on my Polara. If I can sell enough parts, I hope to be able to afford seat upholstery and door panels.

Rebuild Krusty's engine. In the meantime, the "Missile" is off the hoist, and will be making passes in the spring. Needs a new chassis sticker and driver's belts. The
old girl is gonna see the track again....

I'm hoping to get the Demon finished and on the road by the end of the summer (finish welding the firewall, install complete front frame, full floor, interior, drivetrain, rebuild front end, finish paint). I'm using the off-season (winter) to stockpile the parts so there are no downtimes. The frame and drivetrain is easy but time consuming, the rest is cake.

72 Demon: Hopefully more of the same - race each month they race and back to street trim and drive to local cruises in the "off" months. Don't need any breakage to sidetrack me!

71 Demon 340: Hopefully more of the same - specific car shows and a few local cruises. We tend to keep this car home more "just because."

69 Charger: Continue with sheetmetal replacement. Perhaps get it to the paint stage by the end of the fall. Then on to the mechanicals by the end of the year/early next year? Us retirees can't work all day every day on these things you know!!

I would like to get the T5 transmission at least BOLTED into Vixen, if not get the floor pan work done rear end installed drive shaft built and get her back on the road. Tall order for an old fart, but we'll see.

I need to get the springs, rear end, trans and wheels/tires on the wagon so it's back on the road. Then start on the Valiant, one piece at a time so I can keep driving it.

If life allows it’ll be
67 Valiant: freshen the front end suspension/steering. Upgrade brakes to BBP set up. New BBP rear axles . Bbp tire combo. Some sheet metal work (floor pans)

68 Polara: Suspension/steering rebuild . Finish hooking up A/C as well as newer style compressor. Power steering bracket rattle

And last but not least the goal is to cruise to the Mopar Spring/Fall Flings with my girls in either one of the old mopars . Little one made it in time to make it this fall or I should say last fall not in an old Mopar but mamas mopar ‘20 Rango and got to chill with her tios moez and naj and big boi rex and their barracudas

Any steps forward on my Duster would be an improvement. Need to get motivated this winter and do what I can. Need to get epoxy supplies so that when spring comes I can get busy with that.

i have a ton to do.. but winter shut me down, i will start again in march or april :)

Weld in torque box plates that i got with my frame connectors and never did (i don't really need them but i have them)

Push the doorjambs back out that moved in over the years from people slamming doors (i didn't know this was a thing on non post cars, i thought holy **** mopar didn't care at all when they built this since the body lines for the door were soo far off)

Send out my heater control valve for a rebuild.

Take out the bench seat and add rods across the springs to tighten it up a bit (can't remember the name for them right now.. Stay ties?)

Pray my block gets machined finally so i can do a 408 (or 426, not sure yet)... only been 7 months now...

Add some stuff to the trans when i do the engine.. mainly a drag sprage and some other small updates...

Other things i'm forgetting right now..

If I'm keeping it, mostly comfort stuff: replace cat whiskers, door seals, and possibly the front seat. And add a passenger mirror!

If I sell it, get another late-model Challenger.

70 Barracuda Convertible (cloning a 71)

Get the metal work done. I've got it down the bones and braced and it still feels like I've done nothing productive.

Start on the motor (2018 6.4 SRT HEMI)

Locate/Acquire parts
- Shaker bubble
- Gull Wing
- Header panel
- Bumpers

65 Valiant (#2 son project)
- Rebuild motor
- Body/Paint
- Exhaust
- Modify and Install the 8.8

1990 Dakota (#1 son project)
- Get him to title the damn thing
- Get the frame cleaned up and painted
- Body/Paint
- Rebuild the 6.1 HEMI that's going into it.

1969 Dart
Install passenger vent window.
Rear glass seal (3rd time around, hope it doesn't leak so I can put speakers back in)
Fab a new mount for the 2step switch and stop for the clutch.
Install clutch tamer
Rebuild my other 23 spline A833 with the set of 3.09 gears I bought years ago.

1974 AMX
Finish cleaning up wiring. (Going with only the necessities, factory harness was butchered)
Go through brakes, make sure booster is working.
Swap out front tires
Attempt to clean interior of mouse piss smell.......

Hoping we get a bunch of snow and I have no time to do any of it
Kids got their snowmobile certificate.

I really just need to sort a bunch of tiny nagging issues. My main goal is to get the Dart running reliably well enough I can use it for trips up to 100 miles without concern. If I get that accomplished, stretch goals are to dyno tune it and go drag racing.
