Did you use Custom Pistons? Your bore would be 3.970 correct?

Mine was offset bored to 4.0 so an off the shelf stroker piston would work.

WOW! What a bad a@@ maternal fornicator! LOL :toothy10:

whats it run with slicks and opened up?

Don't know I spin a little off the line but not much. I don't have any slicks to try.

Off the self pistons they are in KB catalog page 21. Bore size is 3.97 I think it makes my total cubes to 396

wow!I love the sound of that cam and the way it idles!
What kind of mods to the heads and valves are needed for a cam like that?

Ok, so the ones based on the 390 kit............Cool! Those are forged right?

Sounds great! I am wondering how these 318 strokers compare to the 360 stroker kits that are out there? Running on pump gas of course. Have you had the engine dyno'd?

I am going to have mine dyno'd at Brian's Shop before I install it. It is only a 10.20:1 Pump Gas Motor. I had my 410 that is in my 70 Dart Dyno'd at Brians, I am glad I did. I had major oil leaks from the valve covers. It would have been a MESS with it installed in the car to get cleaned up. After 5 min on the dyno BOTH gaskets just started Pouring out oil all over the place.

Nice thread, I want to do a 318 stroker also. So all the info from you and others on this is greatly appreciated! I had a '71 318 that I back yard rebuilt that had the heads milled down .030. I put a holley 650 on it with an eddy manifold. Thats all. I was such a noob I could not for the life of me understand why the 4 barrel never opened! LOL. I had a chance then to do a lot more with that car.........Anyway, like the thread. Thanks all!

Ummmm, that's not a Torker II on the engine in the vid. Change it out???? Looks like a Victor.

12.20 in the 1/4 with what ya got isn't bad! More stall and some slicks...Muha ha ha ha ha

Whatcha got for rear suspension?

Sounds a lot like the motor I'm building right now, cept mines a 67 date code block, same exact pistons, rhs heads, solid cam, scat rotating assembly, m1 intake with 950cfm carb, and fender well headers with 1 3/4 primaries and 3in collectors.

Having the same cubes as a Chevy bb from a 318 is a laughable subject..:toothy10:

Almost forgot, she runs on e85.

And if they want proof, it says so on the side of the block.. haha
