340 NO COMPRESSION?

Hi Folks

Just installed a 340 into my project to fab up my console shift linkage. Unfortunately, I found that I have no compression in all eight cylinders. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just put the manual box in to move it around, so that can't be the problem.

Check your timing, your timing chain looks totally GONE!!

Apparently the guys on Roadkill TV had very good luck with this stuff. I think the OP should be good.

I've seen it used on leaking Subaru head gaskets and they never leaked after. Must be some mean stuff.

It's got to big of carburetor on it.

It appears that you have gotten a little bit a "head" of yourself.

Saw a 455 442 olds do that we were standing in staging lane up next all we saw was a puff of smoke and parts bouncing off track. Total destruction guess they aren’t made to pull 7500 rpm
