383 A body with B Manifolds?

My 67 Formula S was a original 273 4 speed car,but the original engine was no good.So I have a fresh built 383 that I am going to detune abit ,and I am thinking of running B body hp manifolds.What year manifolds would work the best?I have tried the 383 4 speed header thing and it was a real pain....I have seen B body manifolds on 383 A bodies and its real tight fit near the steering shaft but I have seen them fit.

i just did my 1967 Barracuda from 273 to 383 and tried various manifolds. if you want to save yourself lots of time and frustration, as well as retain p.s. and p.b. get the 1968-69 383 A body manifold PN#2946728 for the drivers side. passanger side can be a B body HP. I finally did, and ended up with a factory looking install!

69 383hp manifolds, the left had to milled a bit, but it's been so long ago I do not remember how much.

With a "B" block even the 67 HP manifolds will fit, but the 68-73 are more common.
