The vacuum ports on a Holley are normally under the primary fuel bowl like YR stated, apparently AED does it differently. No timed port no vacuum advance.

Correct
Some applications require a timed port.
I run a timed port vacuum advance on my 340, total timing at highway cruz speed is right around 44 degrees. Works well, no issues.
