408 Stroker on the Dyno (Finally)

-
Thanks for all the input. This is my first motor and it's been a great learning experience. I think I will use the cam as is.
I'm going to stay with EZ-EFI for a few reasons:
- Reliability (arguable if you're a great carb guy, I am not)
- Engine longevity
- Better cold starts
- Better gas mileage

Every article I've read show's the EZ-EFI matching or improving horsepower on the dyno. As far as the intake, the guy at fastmanefi.com recommended this one. Not knowing any better, I'm going to go with his recommendation.

Eagle stroker kit with crank, rods, pistons, bushings $1250, plus machine work, heads, cam, gaskets, headers, EFI setup, yada yada yada. I suppose I'll be $8500 in this when it's all over counting the heads, EFI, and TTI headers. You could probably stroke a 360 on the cheap for around $2000 if you have carb/headers you can live with.

Tomorrow its time to start first time my frend 408 :D
