Holley Street Dominator is the best bet. I have the Torker II on mine and its a close second. I've been dying to find a 440 Holley Street Dominator but they seem to be rarer

Absolutely it will run just fine at low RPM, it was designed to be a street intake with race manners up top. It's been dyno tested, street tested and pretty much most people agree, its one of the TOP performing intakes for the RB. especially in a street package. I'll put it this way, IF you get the Street Dominator and for any reason do not like it, I'll trade you it for my Torker II.

I had to use a drop base for my air cleaner to get my RPM manifold to fit under my 66 Coronet hood. Love my RPM. Have you considered a drop base?

I understand, I wanted to ad a 1/2" spacer but can't because of room. I have about 1/4" of space under hood. If not for the torque strap I would probably hit on acceleration. I guess I could see if there's one with a lower drop. Good luck with your decision. Hope you find something that works well.

Exactly. The stigma associated with single planes is a myth with the Street Dominator. I would have bought it twice by now if I needed an intake.
