1965 Barracuda. In the back corners of the rear window - on the interior are 2 plastic trim pieces. Each is held in place with 2 white plastic 'buttons".

How do I remove this pieces without breaking it???????????/

Rear winow is already removed.

thanks
Mike

you might have to drill out the 2 plastic retaining studs--- that looks like a difficult piece to remove & save ,Lawrence

Instead of drilling out the plastic rivets which you probably will not be able to replace; drill an access hole such that you could reach in and push the rivet out from inside. If foggy memory serves me right, where you would need to drill is normally covered so access holes would be hidden.

Hope you found the 2 hidden screws up under the window rubber!! And the center of the plastic rivit is a push pin that expands the fingers on the back! Hardest part to find is the center push pin, everybody needs them! Geof

didn't see 2 hidden screws. They weren't there. There are 2 small holes in the plastic though.

Should these and the side panels be installed before the rear glass goes in or after?

I just removed these plastic rivets from my parts car. They pretty much self destructed. Anybody have a source for replacements?
