I'm in the process of changing the front brakes in my '65 Signet. I took the drum off of one side and it seems that the hub for the wheel is attached to the drum. I bought a replacement drum from Napa and it doesn't have the hub attached. I can't seem to find a hub assembly. Does anyone have any suggestions or hints? Thank You

do a search on the term "swedge", mopar used the wheel studs to hold the drum on the hub-- this is now a unit & needs to be turned on a lathe as such.

find an shop that has been in business for some time(mom/pop type), they will have the knowledge needed to properly seat the new drum, Lawrence

You have to press out the wheel studs to seperate the hub from the drum. Best to have a shop do it unless you have a press and experience.

i thought i might have to press out the studs...thanks for the response everyone
