I'm looking for either a complete 67 273 or a block and 4bbl carburetor. Preferably in the Southeast if its a complete engine. Key parts I need are a block and a Carter 4295S carb. If you have a complete engine or a block or carb please PM me with a price and location. Only non modified parts wanted. THANKS!!!!
 
I have a 4-20-67 273 block that has not been bored, original 2 barrel pistons and crank, dampener. No oil pan or cam. I`m in Va.. If you can`t find something closer then let me know and I`ll strap it to a pallet.

If there's a Greyhound station near you, thats not out of the relm of possibility. PM me a price.
 
Just to clarify so I don't seem picky, I'm gathering parts for a stocker project. Thats why I need a certain carb number and stock parts. I can use aftermarket rods, and pistons and later model heads so those aren't as important to me as the block and carb. Thanks for the PM's thus far!
 
Not sure, here are some pics. It came off my 273 which is a correct 65 block/heads. AFB or AVS....now I am cornfused. tag on it says 4131

If I'm reading NHRA's engine specs page, that number is for a 66 383.

You didnt mention Heads but have some 67 heads less the adj rockers D EDMONTON ALTA. D
 
Captain, no luck with Greyhound. If you don`t find something close by maybe we can consider another carrier. I saw a 273 in Florida in the parts for sale forums not too long ago.
 
I have a 67 hp 273 from my 67 s barracuda.just pulled 2 weeks ago to put in a 340.the 273 has the factory dome pistons with the forged steel crank.plus the 4 barrel heads.it ran 9.15 ets in a all stock 3400pds 67 s barracuda.Im in nc.Thanks

You going to run Stock or Super Stock?
 
I dont remeber everything I saw at ebay yesterday but I do recall a 4294S which is for a 4 speed manual trans car. That 4295 is gonna be hard to find. I settled for 4305S which is 67 Calif. emissions version. Very little difference in any of the 3.
