Hey Charger 70 I must say that you have done an impresive job there. I like the way you took the flat bar and added the round stock. If no one knew they would say it looks like the top of a keg. But yes I do understrand what you are saying and I will add another bolt and some reinforcement on the top. Thanks

67limecrazy, call Tony Squire @ hotwireauto.com, and see if he still has some used 03 computers. Last time I talked to him he had 3 or 4 and they were 350 each. sorry that I could not be of more help with the wiring, it was my first time doing such a thing, and I nailed it. My better half happened to come out to the garage and caught me dancing like a school girl , man I was stoked.

Yep... 1/8" flat with round stock front and rear and another flat on top. Kinda made my own box tubing. It was a hell of alot easier to make than bending 3/4" flatstock:)
Its compact enough that I was able to keep my bench seat.
Using the round stock had the added benifit of leaving a recess for the wirefeed to fill...better penetration.
I don't know but it has to be pretty close to the factory strength. I have 2 years of wailing on it and it hasn't given way yet.:toothy5:

Charger70, I'm glad to hear that someone else has done the same thing I have and more importantly, it's holding together.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:Well guys the moment of truth. After working on the wiring harness for hours my budy Joe and i got the baby running. Check it out.

So after all it was a happy ending at the end of yesterdays day. We accomplished what we were looking for. To get her started. Dont forget i am using the original OEM harness without all the extras. She actually runs smooth. I am liking it more every day. This build has kicked my *** but I kow it will be for the best.:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

"A kind of peace settled over the scene as our two Hero's stepped back to reflect upon their accomplishment. In that moment they felt a sense of the awesome power that was now within their grasp."

I'm glad to "hear" it's running. Did you find out what the problem was? If I can figure out how to post a video, I'll do the same with my car. Congrats on the beast up and running. What mufflers are you using?

More pics or video, I'm starting to go through withdrawls. Cant wait to see more.

:cheers:Yeah we sat there installing wire by wire and relay after relay till it decided to wake up. Didnt have to get other computer. The one on it was good. So today i went ahead and re-did the fuel preasure regulator and added a return to the tank and now i am able to control the fuel preasure. 55lbs. Re-installed the transmission lines and now I need to find a Yoke for the tranny so I can send it out to have the Driveshaft done. I am going to check and see if the one for the slant 6 will work. As far as posting videos you can do it thru Photobucket or You tube. It is the same as posting a picture.

I'm pretty sure the fuel pressure should be set a 58psi, that is according to hotrod, s&p and a few others, but I'm sure a few pounds wont make any difference. I got my yoke on ebay for 25 plus shipping from NY.It's a big sucker, 1330 size u joint if my memory serves right. I'll try your suggestions to get some pics on here, but this is your thread, and I dont want to hijack it. If it's alright with you, if I can do it, how about 2-3 pics and call it good?

Bring it on. Lets have some fun. You say you bought yours on e-bay. May I ask were? Thsi way i could go straight to it. Thanks. Today I couldnt get back to the garage. The ground is too wet and dont want to get stuck. So I guess I will have to wait couple of days to see if it stops raining.

I dont remember the Dodge dealers name, sorry, but it came from up state New York. I do have a buddy that works at a drive line place (the boss), I'll give him a buzz and see what he could do. I'll send you a pm when I find out.

Please send some rain to Ca., we need it by the acre foot.

No problem. Its appreciated. As far as rain it is getting tiring. It has been coming down everyday. Soon i will need a Canoe to get to the car. This is :bs:make it stop.

My buddy said that a yoke off a 727 should fit. His application charts dont really cover mopar (cause you know gm and ford are weak) and the mopars hardly ever go bad. So I guess that if you still have or have access to a 727 you should be good. Let me know, as I'm curious as hell.

Sounds like a winner. I should be able to get one with no problem. Thanks
Well it has kind of stoped raining so hopefully I will be able to get something done this week.

Do it to it. Thanks for the rain, but the wind that came with it blew my easy up over to the neighbors yard and what a twisted mess it was, now that makes 2 so far this year that are toast.

You asked for the rain and you got it. Now you know that the next time ask for it but with calm winds. LOL. Sorry about the Easy up.

Stuff happens. How is the car coming?

Well Today I was able to get back into the garage and work a bit on it. I Took the Rod from the old tranny and retrofited the same to fit the 45RFE tranny. I didnt know that they are very hard steel. But nothing a little heat cant handle. Also for your info I kept all the stock original column in place. The TTI Headers were built in a way that it had enough clearance to put everything in place. Props for them on that. I wound up with this as an end result.
