It has been great to be able to walk up to my baby turn the key and hear her crank every time. Just finished the tunnel and yesterday started to install the dynomat. Got the rug out laying flat so when I am done with insulating install rug then interior. I will post some more pictures this week ( ****) lol. Guys thanks for hanging in there for me. I don't know what I have done without your encouragement. FABO for ever.
I should but I am not that way. Let him be, there is a Lord up there that will take care of him. By the way guys I am looking for the weatherstripping to the quarter window and it looks like this.
any chance you have one in your parts bin or on the shelve. I just need the passenger side one. Please look.
Anyone out there that can give me some suggestions as to how to install the preformed rugs. It seems that the one that goes over the transmission buckles up and I am having a hard time. If someone has done it let me know. I have looked in the forum and no one has anything on it.
if the carpet is correct it should just lay there,, orignal hump or tunnel ? not modified ?? try a heat gun to soften it up and mold it by hand while it is warm,,,just dont get to close to the carpet if you have a killer heat gun
I got you. Loud and Clear. Here it is I was able to Install the carpet and put the seats in. All I have to do now is the final touches. I have to cut the same at the sills and install them. I figured I would send you guys some ****. Here it is.
 Finally put some crome cleaner on the rims and they seem to have come out prety good.
It is getting closer to do the drive and burn some Rubber. I just need someone with me so they can record while I drive. My buddy has been working hard lately and has not been able to be there. I am Hoping to get the door panels in soon. I hit another bump, the rear quarter panel windows are missing the weatherstripping and now the clips that hold the bracket on the window decided to break on me so I was not able to install them temporarely til the weatherstrips are found.
Thanks guys. It feels good to be doing the interior. It shows that I am getting towards the end of the build. I just have to focus now because it is a matter of finding the right parts to finish. As you all know it is bad enough to find parts for others but for a 67 Dart and Sedan no parts are being reproduced. So far four years and still looking for some parts. I have my hopes that it can be done soon. We shall see. Keep your eyes open for sedan parts and let me know. Peace
Hey guys back again. I was sick for a while and am now getting back up to par. The windlace was made by the same guy that did the interior. I hope to be able to get back at it this week. It all depends How I am feeling. 5.7 you crack me up you are always looking for a fix. Lets see what happens in te next few days. Hope everything is going well for you guys. I will keep you posted on anything done.
Here's the difference, inner headlights gone and the grill extends to cover up the missing headlights. Ithought that I could copy/paste a pic, but my skills are not that good.
