If the numbers on the (removable) dash match the (removable) fender tag and match the (removable) engine and match the (removable) trans then that means that them 4 parts are the real deal, if you know what I'm saying!

One already has a Charger, The older Daughter is 25 ( Married ) Was a big Shelby nut, Trying to keep this one away from the Big B Bodies and steer her towards an A Body, She loves Darts But her husband wants a Duster. She'll just keep looking, Thanks for the help fellahs.

I have seen those wheel covers on 67, 68, and 69's... are you saying they are 67 only?

They were readily available and I think that is why you would see them. There was also a mag style full wheel cover optional on B and C bodies that finds its way onto a lot of Mopars as well.

Here is a full 1967 wheel cover:

This is another optional full wheel cover for 68/69:

This is the 1968 and 1969 mag style wheel cover....'68 had the Argent center whilst '69 was black center: These were 7 piece wheel covers that weighed about 7 lbs each. There was the main center, removable outer rim, and five separate "lug nuts" that were secured on the back side of the center section.

and last is the infamous "Recall Rim" from 1969:

$14500? Id say closer to $18 if it is #s matching. I sold my #s 68 340 sun fire yellow gts In Maine 10 years ago for $17k and there is NO $ in maine(mine had correct wheel covers, hood inserts, bumperettes, and wheel well molding). I still think mine looked better. Had cone in grille and a black vinal. Man I miss that Car.....

Possibly NOT numbers matching. They started stamping the VIN in late/late 1968. Would have to check the casting dates instead to get it close if it is a early 68. Also, the AC and rear defog were TWO separate items. The AC may have also been a dealer install. Without the fender tag/broadcast sheet we can only surmise. Also, those are 1967 wheel covers and not '68's.

My big block from my 68 GTS was cast in June of 67 and the car was assembled in early December of 67. So, from what you said when would they have of stamped the block and the tranny?
