68 valiant column to floor

I have my eye on a really nice 68 valiant roller. Car was slant with three on tree. Motor and trans are out of car. I want to convert column to floor. I do not want to butcher this car. will any a body hump work with this car? and what would be a good shifter to keep bench seat? Thanks in advance........Dwayne
