Nice project. Keep up the good work. I would have sticked with the green color. Just love it.

Thats Epoxy primer to start with just to get it sealed up. Once the rest of the body work is done I scuff it and start the 2K primer process. It will all get sealed again with Epoxy before paint. Merry Christmas Ken.

when ya start the 4 speed conversion, please document EVERY little detail, with pics. I am trying to do the same thing once I get all my stuff together...

the bracket on the frame is one of my concerns...my 68 cuda is an automatic, and maybe i missed it, but i didnt see where that ball stud bracket would go..do ya have a before and after shot of that area? do ya drill a hole threw the frame for the ball stud to go threw as well? i forget...

The hole is already in the inner fender, Just put the ball stud through and bolt the bracket on and once its in place weld it on.

My car is a factory automatic and it has that bracket welded to the frame rail/inner fender; factory spot welded too. My original 340 crank also looks like its drilled deep for a 4 speed. Factory screw up apparently...

I got the engine bay body work finished and in Epoxy primer last night.

Passenger side body work is all done, Its in epoxy primer now but no pictures of the primer yet. It looks like a lot of putty but its thin and its the only way to make these Darts straight.

Its tough for my son now because he works 2nd shift and usually gets home between 1-2 am so that means he sleeps all day till its time to go to work again and hes been working 6 days a week so he dont have a lot of time.

The body work is all done, Time for some color.
