Lookin' GREAT, Rick! Somewhere in this section I have a thread going on my '67 B-cuda, too! The "other" Rick and I are knocking it out for a quickee (but quality) paint job. :-)

GREAT job!

BTW...I rode by your house a couple of weeks ago on the bike and it didn't look like anyone was home, so I didn't bother stopping. I need to come by and see this Dart in person.

Dang, you should have stopped by. It never looks like anyone's home. We normally don't park anything in front.

I found someone to help me with the paint job. It may very well be in color by the end of the month:-D

Awesome! Been waiting along time to see color squirted on the dart..(you too I bet...lol)

It will be awhile before the next update. I'm letting it dry for a couple weeks before I start wet sanding and buffing.

What paint did you use? I ask because if you used a good polyurethane then waiting that long will be like sanding and buffing concrete. Unless you get really agressive on the compound you'll find that you'll wind up with a lot of sand scratches that'll be hard to polish out. If you used enamel, not a big deal. Urethane and you'll want to get on it as soon as the hardener has flashed and usual flow out time on that is 24-36 hours.

Nice paint, color really pops.

Getting the shine back after wet sanding.

Getting close to reassembly! I had to do a repair on the drivers door and re-clear the whole thing. Just wetsanded it today and will polish it along with the front valance tomorrow. That's it! After that it starts going back together!:burnout:

Looks like there's a window in the rear quarter:toothy10:
