I picked this up from someone i know. Unfortunately someone you know at times is a scary thing. It needs some major frame work. I should have looked closer but i didnt. The misses liked it and i thought with a BIT of work it would be cool for her to have. I got to tell her the news and see what she wants to do. I didnt pay alot but i dont need another Major project.:banghead::banghead: At first i was thinking of getting it for some stuff i could use on my dart then she mentioned how she liked it.........AH! CRAP!!!!! I will post some pics as soon as i can. YAAAAAAAP looks like im a assdisgust

I built one for my buddy back in the late eighties. I painted it Plum crazy, put a 340 with a six pack and a 4 speed in it. Cool ride and a nice project. a very undstated mopar then and now, good find. Lots of luck with it.

sorry to hear you picked up an F-body .....oh yea too bad about the frame damage.

if you need any parts i have a couple of those.

im sure your wife will understand if you explain in detail what the problem is

there are a few F bodies that are pretty cool. like the super coupe, and the Aspen R/T, and it's sibbling the roadrunner. It's amazing how much better these cars look with all the window slats, and spoilers. I bought a brand new 78' aspen R/T in black with the spoiler package, back in 1978. That was a really nice handleing car, not the most powerful thing, but still a pretty nice car. Mine had factory bucket seats, a 318 and a 4 speed ( 3 speed/ with O/D ) The car passed through a few hands, after me, and eventually was totaled when the owner hit a tree. I wish I still had that car.

You are probly correct..........Havent got the ownership as of yet. Dropping it off tonite.I had one along time ago. Nice car........318 auto with buckets..white interior and console///// 1/4 vinyl roof? A premier i believe orange. The only thing that was bad on it was the rear end.........Have you ever heard of a Baby Dana????????????? All i know back then was the rear end was great until you let off the gas and holy crap........The grinding...****.Needed some major money to fix the rear end so i sold it. It was a great car and well looked after.........Kind of miss it.

You can also go over and check out F_body_deconstuctor_Jim on FMJ's. He posts up clean frame rails every once in while inexpensively.

Doesn't look bad on top,

But had a 67 Barracuda convertible the same way, exterior and interior looked good, boy was the bottom a mess.

Good luck

Sure would like to know where my 77 T Top Aspen is today, probably been to china and back as a Kia or something

I have always liked those body style cars. Ordered mine around feb of 77 and think it came in April, had my mag wheels, air shocks and stereo ready to go in the day it arrived.
