Picked this little 82 d150 up in Clinton Tennessee just north of Knoxville on Monday. It's in great shape and it made the 417 mile trip back home. It has a 318 2 barrel carb now and 2.71 gears it rolled fine at 75 lol. Think I'm gonna build a 360 magnum engine I got for this thing. It's gonna be for wife to race and drive on the street. Rebuild magnum with stock rotating assembly and put a nice cam in it with headers , stall and some gears should be fun

I've been looking for a short bed for a while now. I like the red!
 
Here's mine. 318 4 speed overdrive...I love it!

Very nice! And you're just an hour and some change away. I've got a 79 power wagon in need of some love and an 85 Ramcharger that's still waiting on me to get its 4bt dropped in. Projects never end. But looks like you're ready to go!
 
I've actually got a stroker I'm building right now be around 475 500 hp..may drop it in and save for a newer hemi swap
 
Nice pickup! Here is a picture of my 82 D150. It's a sweet driving slant 6 and OD 4speed right now. In the planning stages of doing a stroked big block. Currently looking for a Dana 60 to throw under it.

Thanks yours is nice as well. Funny you mention a Dana because I was just talking to a friend about finding one.
 
SWB's Rule! Here's mine - 400/NP435/8.75 w 3.23. Drive it all the time. Tinkering with the carb right now, trying to squeeze some more economy out of it. Cam change to something smaller soon and hopefully an A833.

Sweet trucks, love those swb ones...there is a 79 short box Dodge near me, 2wd and plain jane....usually sits in the back yard but noticed it's in the owners driveway now, migt have to knock on his door to see if its for sale.

My Dad has a '82 shortbed with the same wheels, except his is yellow with a super six. Looks like you got a nice truck.
 
I love the short boxes. I bought this one with the idea of stuffing a 440 in it. But the V6 runs so good I haven't had the heart to toss it to the side yet! We just call it "The little Dodge".
