904 trans issues

Couple issues with my 904...First is if I leave the car sit a few days or a week when I go to drive it the transmission slips like its got a high stall in it untill I get it going and then its fine from there on. Leave it sit a few days and same thing every time. The seconed I'm really at a loss over. I take off in first hard everything is fine, shift to seconed still on it everything is fine. But when I shift it into drive if I'm still on it hard it slips really bad like I passed drive and hit neutral. If I let up right before going into drive it shifts fine. I've checked everything I know of and I'm out of adjustment room on the shift linkage. Any ideas? Thanks, Clay

904/727 suffer from converter drain back..the fluid will drain back into the pan once the engine is shut off...and after a couple days...the converter is empty.....and the converter will not fill went you start in park...so once you shift into gear...converter is trying to fill up...

simple thing...once you started the car...put it into neutral for a few seconds...it will charge the converter..
