Well my swap meet Mickey Thompson 28 x 10.5 ×15 finally gave up the ghost last week and I got me some new shoes - hoosier 28×10.5×15. Pass #1 - very typical 11.85, pass #2 - a new best 11.81, but still should be able to get a good dial in time together (you would think!??) Pass #3 - last practice pass 11.77 . Well that was great, but now ? Thinking it was a complete fluke I set dial in at 11.79. Round #1 i fall asleep at the light and run an 11.77. Did my best 60 foot times. Maybe the tires need a few passes to start working good ?

That is the most probable and heard thing about tires. A few burn outs and a few runs to get to the tire and get passed the outside cover. That's what I heard.

A tenth here, a tenth there, keep whittling till you got a whistle...!!!!

Yep, sounds like you need to go to a test n tune night and break 'em in. I hate going on those nights but sometimes (suspension changes/new tires, etc.) you just gotta do it.

So what's ypur 60 foots like?
Be interested to know what rear suspension set up too, if your running a 10.5
:)
