Aftermarket Floor shifter Suggestions

Which shifter did you purchase? I have this on the way from Australia.
I will have to deal with this being a shifter for RH drive. (Gear indicator wrong side for the US)

I haven’t purchased one yet. It’s on my list, currently working on installing hood pins and mocking up the intercooler for the supercharger. Been busy lately so progress is slower than I’d like

I installed the B&M Megashifter in my 340 Sport with the Chevy 200-4R trans. Love it and the installation was straightforward and pretty easy.

I got mine at a garage sale for $20. It was still in the box marked $39.95. It’s a hurst. That’s what they cost back in the 70s. It’ just a cheapie 3 speed shifter.

I went ahead and purchased the Aussie shifter featured in the short video clip. Says will arrive Jan 8. I will just deal with he gear indicator being on the wrong side.

Remember, he has a bench seat.
A ratchet shifter where the handle stays centered and does not actually move from that centered position when ratcheting thru all the gears is what will be ideal. I will try and retain the bench seat in my Dakota and have ordered such a shifter.

I bought his from a business in Australia. It arrived today December 31. It's a chunk and is awesome! Next to it is a pistol grip quarter stick from Hurst. I like the Hurst handle but cannot warm up to the gated design. The other unit- the Bang shift Pistol grip is ratcheting and the stick stays centered thru all gears.

The best bang for the buck and easiest to use for ME is the B&M Pro Ratchet. Affordable, simple and effective and doesn't look too big or gawdy.
Can you post a picture of it? How does it operate and do these floor shifters have a reverse lockout?

wow..been looking at them on summit..tooooo many choices..lol.. Gated, ratcheting, this, that..oh boy

After a bunch of PPP shifters, I wanted something different. I installed a B&M Pro Bandit in Krusty. It works just as well, and feels more solid. I was surprised.
