Sitting on I-75...waiting for traffic to open up....accident...life flight just left

Anyways...after the fabbed pieces, it takes another 800-1200 for rack/ coilovers/ ect

Denny I can't imagine the aluminum not being street friendly if braced right. Mercedes and the other Luxo boxes have Aluminum chassis components and most are cast not forged. I'd like to see what kind of abuse one could take before braking. Heck the Chevy Impala has a welded together aluminum front k member and I've seen them take a beating in an accident. I bet if you made the main members out of honeycomb you should be good.
 
yes i would be interested curently i am racing 68 dart would i be able to use the wilwood brakes on my car now or would i have to purchase new stuff
