Anyone else hate the 'Fast and Furious' movies?

in 2001 it must have been close to the end of the school year because my son was in Middle School and around 12 or 13 years old. It was a Friday and the movie was coming out and showing at the noon matinee for the first time. I took my son to school that morning and went home and got the Duster my 72 sassy grass green Duster. It had a fresh paint job with a matte black hood headers and glass packs kicked out the side. Jacked up on some big SS cragars...
I went back to my son's school and got him out early at 11 and we made the noon matinee for the first showing. Of course when the Challenger did the Wheel stand I bawled out hell yeah in the movie theater LOL... The best part was when my son and I came out and all the young kids got in there little Honda cars and started reving them up and my son and I were the only ones that walked over to that gleaming sassy grass muscle car and fired it up with its crackling sound! It was a day neither one of us will forget...

Not sure why the 70 Charger in the first movie has a funky bumper, but I absolutely abhor
all the scale models of 70 Chargers that are and have been produced with that awful, non-stock bumper.

????
Not sure what you mean. I didn't notice the bumper being unusual. The 1970 Charger had a Chrome loop bumper like this one:

That's a great memory to have!

I've seen a few of the others on video.. I guess I'm more of a fan of the memory with my son...

I saw a lot of drive-in movies back in the day. I remember few of the movies other than the titles... but I do have some good memories associated with those, lol.

I'm not sure I've watched anything with Vin Dic........... all the way through, and certainly none of the fuzzy and fuzzyness series

If you like good action flick, you might give *** (triple X) a watch. It's actually pretty good. Action from get to go.

Iv only ever seen the first one. It was ok but not really a fan. I do want to see the new hicks and Dobbs or whatever it's called it looks pretty cool it's by the makers of f&f.

Look closely at the bumper.

Compare the actual movie car with another 70.

It's different than a standard 70 bumper.

...and all sorts of die casts have been produced in the time since that movie came out...

...with that hideous bumper.

Hollywood in general is a complete joke. Original ideas are few and far between today. Everything is a remake, prequel or sequel. Recently it’s been Fast and Furious, Toy Story, Lion King, Chucky, Men in Black, about a half dozen comic book movies, Godzilla, Pet Sematary, Dumbo...I could keep going. It’s an absolute joke.

I am old, old fashioned, an antique.. I watch the old movies..over.. and over.. and over..and over !!!! ha

I’m 28 and the newest movie I own is from nearly 20 years ago. The majority of my movies came out long before I was born.

"I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time Fast and Furious movie at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those 10 seconds 2 hours or less, I’m free."

Are they unrealistic in many ways? Yes. But 99% of movies out there have things that are not realistic. It's all about entertainment. If you want true 100% reality just live your life and stop spending it in front of a screen.

I watch most movies at home on TV and 9 times out of ten when it’s over I say I stayed up for that. Will I do it again yes. I like action movies with good special effects. My favorite is John Wick 3. If you haven’t seen it, watch it. Non stop action and violence. From guns to knives to horses and dogs. The animals don’t get hurt they do the hurtin.

I prefer realism in my movies, that is why I prefer porno.
A loser delivering pizzas or a lowly plumber can easily get laid just like in real life.

...and every 3rd or 4th time is with 2 girls!
