Are Mopar small block heads interchangeable left to right?

Quick question, Can you swap Small Block heads from one side to the other or is there something special about each head?

I know that some of the aftermarket heads may need some minor machining to provide clearance for things such as alternators, p/s pumps, and even the LH stock exhaust manifold. If that was done, like on my Edelbrocks, they will no longer be interchangeable sise-to-side.

I was going to say to check the threads because of exactly that, but now I'm not going to. :)
 
The LA engines (273, 318, 340 & 360) have heads that are the same.
I know some of the current Chrysler engines (4.7l V8) has a left & right head.
