What is the best fitting headers for a 1974 dart sport 360?
Doug's 453One thing I like about Doug's: On a manual steering 72 back a body, with biscuit type motor mounts, you do not have to drop the steering linkage. You can get them in by lifting the motor one side at a time with both mounts unbolted . This is with the car on jack stands. You have to turn the steering wheel all the way to get them in. One side all the way to the left, the other side all the way to the right. Do the driver's side first. You will need to remove the oil filter and starter though.
If you want to pay a fortune and can find themIf it's a mild small block you will be much happier with a pair of 68-72 340 exhaust manifolds.
Let us know how they fit. Take some pic's if you can.I ended up purchasing Dougs D455 for the 74 360 dart sport. Will have starter fit problems? Just trying to be prepared..
