Best Rockers for Indy 360 heads

I have a set of Indy 360-2 heads set up for solid roller(269/276 .698/.698). I've read not to use the Indy rockers with higher spring pressures. Any opinions on the T&D or Harland Sharp rockers? I only want to buy once and not have to worry about it. Customer Service is always a big plus also.
 
I have Harland Sharps on my big block Indy heads. I think the T&D or Jessel are even better than the Harland and pricey too. I have a 700+ lift roller with mine Zero issues.
 
There was just a thread regarding Norris rockers. They are still being made evidently. They are very high quality.
 
Last rocker you will buy? Isky ductile iron. Save you $300 too. What has less friction, ball bearing or fluid bearing? Just keeping it real.
 
Too much cam for a non roller rocker. You really dont want to "scrub" the rocker tip across the valve with a super aggressive solid roller cam, it will wear out the guides in a hurry. And if the iron rocker does not have some sort of bushing it will not last with high spring rates(over 400#), as the iron will gall on the shaft. I have seen them weld to the shaft before, MP or Crane.

Plus you are not going to get a full fluid wedge affect if you dont convert it to full time oil under full pressure. Mopars have timed oil "squirts" and dont built full oil pressure in the rockers.
 

I'm using the Indy 1.6 rockers on my 360-1's and haven't had to much trouble with them.

How are you modifying the oiling system.? Bearing or cam?
 
I have had my 360-1's heads since 2004 and had nothing but problem with the indy ones. My cam is the same as yours. The ONLY rocker to get is T&D. Once I got these no problems ever again. I would always burn up the pushrod and ball end of rocker. About three per a year. since the switch zero problems.

If you would have used oil thru pushrods, it would not have happened. Ball/Cup pushrods never seem to get enough oil. We either convert them over to cup style adjusters now, or run an oil thru ball/cup pushrod. NOT going to let this happen again!!!!!

Mike your saying the "pulse width" nature of the rocker oiling wont build adequate pressure? You don't need to float the bearings, just supply them. The rotation is enough to create the wedge, right? I like the idea of running AMC/magnum lifters and drilling the ball/cup pushrods, that sounds like common sense practice.
 
Grooving the cam journal or bearing will work. Or feed it thru an oil passage that has full time oil pressure.
 
I thought about die grinding a small slot between the two oil holes in the cam bore when the cam bearing is out. What would you think the PSI loss would be with this conversion?
 
When you run T&D rockers, don't you block off oil to the shafts and oil them through a set of hollow pushrods?
 
I'm not, my rockers are oiled from the shafts. I have bushed lifter bores, couldn't oil through lifters if I wanted too.
