Billet pulleys

PS for those like me who don`t know this -the timing cover bolts you remove / replace with the PS pump pivot bracket bolts are into the water jacket of the block so be prepared to get your feet wet DOH lol
Most of the timing cover bolt holes are tapped thru, either into the water jacket or the block interior (oil), so you need to use thread sealant any time you remove them. I used gasket sealer, which stays sticky. You can clean it with ethanol. Also, if an earlier block (64 - ??), there is one hole on the lower driver's side that later timing covers don't have, so you need to insert a set screw w/ sealant and cover w/ RTV to support the gasket.

my car has the TRW pump which you can only get a bracket for the pre 70 pump, until now that is ,the CVF set works fine I just had to rob the spare 0.20 bushing from the alternator
I don't find brackets for the TRW pump on the CVF site. Can you give a link, or even better photos of your setup? Their V-belt set say "Saginaw only, with back stud". When I put the alum water pump on my 65 273, I had to switch to the later Federal (Chrysler) p.s. pump and buy after-market brackets. I had already rebuilt by TRW pump when I found I couldn't use it.

the link is the same the kit is universal for all pumps with the lower stud on the back as that where the pivot bracket mounts , the kit relocates the pump so I found one of my lines wouldn't reach but it's the one without the pressure fittings it just uses clamps so I picked up a foot of it on the way home along with a new belt and should be good to go next weekend , I'm just using the old slotted adjustment piece from the OE alternator setup until the replacement turn buckle dealy arrives .
PS I always use the grey RTV sealant on all bolts that penetrate the wet areas such as the water pump bolts , the timing cover one was a bit of a surprise but thats part of the fun eh ! spent a half hour draining the rad, pump and hoses only to get a soaker when I pulled the first of those two bolts lol .

just an update the replacement turnbuckle arrived Friday so I picked it up at the PO Saturday and it is on the car and works perfect , the only issues left to address are the new pump is to long to use my clutch fan so I had to get a local parts place to bring in a 1 inch spacer for the old steel fan to get it clear of the PS pulley , and the PS belt rubs ever so slightly on the water pump pulley { no I didn't buy their under driven pulley so I probably should have to avoid this issue }which I am fixing by either spacing the pully forward an 1/8th or spacing the whole pump forward an 1/8th which will require getting my feet wet again so I am hoping to be able to space the pulley with a washer .Wow who would have thought all this to change to a newer style water pump lol

anxiously awaiting pics of these nice pulleys :D i'm glad they are working out ;)

I didn't buy the pulleys just the bracket sets which look real good, I will try to get a pic of the set-up posted here when I get a chance to email it to myself from my phone

i was hoping CX would have been at the MATS or received an email coupon or something ( i signed up on their email list ) but i HAD to have these.

Got mine in the mail today. I had to put 'em on! Here's some before and after shots. I had to get a 2 & 1/2" shorter V-belt, as the crank pulley and water pump pulley are smaller, which everything is slightly under driven, no big deal because I rev the **** out of it anyway. It's a 318, it can handle it. lol I also had to emory cloth the nose on my water pump, (the pilot for the pulley) very easy took 5 minutes. I am VERY impressed with these, well worth the money. I'm a satisfied customer. ;)

Had to pull my alternator apart to press the new pulley on. No big deal, took 10 minutes.
